All registered Sex Offenders information will officially turned over, due to a new accord reached by MySpace and the Attorneys General. Some of you may remember this story cropping up for the past couple of weeks, but MySpace was hesitant to just start handing over personal records. According to MySpace they never intended on NOT giving them the info, just trying to make sure they did it legally.
MySpace officials said they had always intended to provide information to law enforcement officials, but were trying to work out a legal process for handing over the information.
Always more to read over at the WashingtonPost.
Personally, I'm thrilled to death to hear that MySpace will be turning over their information. These individuals need to be tracked down, monitored, and kept away from children or anyone else for that reason. As far as I'm concerned, the moment you become a sex offender, you lose all rights anyway.
